     "Opening to the Miracles" Natural Healing Group is a non-profit group made up of natural healing practitioners and those interested in natural healing from throughout the region with the specific purpose of promoting, practicing, and offering hands-on-healing and other forms of natural healing as a free service to the public. Hands-on-healing is otherwise commonly referred to as energy healing, Reiki or "universal life-force energy", laying-on-of-hands, or therapeutic touch. It works on all levels of the body, mind, and spirit to bring about subsequent healing on corresponding physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels for those who receive it and open to allowing God or Spirit to work in and through their lives to a greater degree.

     We recognize as a group on a most basic human level that the healing energy we give to others does not come from us, but rather comes from God, the Creator, or universal life-force, in such a way as we are merely channels for the healing energy of God to pass through us. As a group, we may utilize the teachings and practices of Jesus and other spiritual and ascended masters and various disciplines and texts, both Western and Eastern, from cultures around the world as a basis for how healing was originally intended to be conducted by Jesus or Buddha or how it is best, or most efficiently, accomplished today based on previous or modern day practices. However, our gatherings are spiritual by their very nature, and not religious. Just as we are all connected through God and all consciousness is One, there is no limitation on who, how, in what ways, and to what extent we can be healed as we grow in our realization of that connection with the Creator. Thus, we are open to, accepting of, and compatible with, people from all religious beliefs and affiliations, spiritual practices and disciplines, and walks of life.

     If you arrive during our posted hours of 2:00 and 5:00 pm, this is the time when our Group Healing and Prayer Service takes place. As you may notice, our Group Healing and Prayer Service is such that we have one or more tables set up in the center of the room as we work on collectively healing one person at a time as a united, cohesive group.

     We invite you to participate to whatever degree you feel called or directed at any given time. Many people report receiving healing by simply observing and being in the quiet presence of the love, healing energy, and warmth of the group. At the same time, there are many angelic beings and spirit guides besides those in the physical who are present and working at our gatherings and the energies and spirit run very high. If you feel called to observe, we ask that you please respect the sanctity of our group at all times by holding conversation to a minimum and conversing as quietly as possible during our group healing and prayer service or if you should decide to leave because the energies in the room become too intense.

     If you wish to direct your own healing energies and prayers to a person or persons receiving healing from a distance, we invite you to first visualize in your mind's eye the perfect expression of health of the individual(s) lying on the table who you wish to focus on. Then, mentally direct and send to the person(s) your thoughts and intentions of love, wholeness, and oneness, along with your vision of perfect health and well-being. In that manner, you too can send healing energy from a distance and consequently affect the overall healing being given at any time.

     If you wish to receive healing or think you may want to, then we ask that you carefully read over and sign our Group Disclaimer and Sign-up Sheet which will then be placed in a pile with others wishing to receive healing. We accept all those who request to receive healing on a first come, first serve basis from those who express an interest by signing up, and there is no limitation on how many times you may sign up. As a group, we make no deference to or judgements regarding the current needs or deserving nature of those requesting to receive healing at any given time, regardless of their current physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual state we may be aware of or unaware of. If you do not have the opportunity to receive healing during the time in which you are present and our Group Healing and Prayer Service is taking place, then you will automatically be given priority at our next gathering.

     Yes, by all means! You are welcome to come up and assist in the group healing at one of the tables as you feel so drawn and directed at any given time. There is no right or wrong way to do hands-on-healing as we work individually and collectively as we are so moved or guided by Spirit. You do not have to have prior experience with hands-on-healing in order to utilize and practice your innate ability to heal with your hands as it is through one's intent of heart that one has, opens to, and activates the gift. However, if you are new to the group and even if you do have prior experience with hands-on-healing, we ask that you first sign-up for and receive healing from our group so that you know what it is like to be on the receiving end of our group healing. This also will ensure that you are cleared of any negative energies or blockages you may have unknowingly brought with you into the group before passing energy to others. Thereafter, as you work on healing others, you will continue receiving healing energy yourself. If you are new to hands-on-healing, please see our section on Energy Healing Basics.

     Receiving group energy healing can be a powerful, life-changing experience and can bring about sudden and dramatic changes in the ways that you look at and perceive yourself, others, and the world you live in, as well as within your own body, mind, and soul. As every person is different and the healing energy goes where it is needed most as it is directed by your subconscious, you are encouraged to try to relax and let go as much as possible during the process and not to resist the healing energy as it is coming into you from all directions. Keep in mind that the healers are merely channels for God's work. The healing energy stems from, and is offered through, the will of God, the Creator, or the universal life-force, which collectively breathes life into you and allows your spirit to have consciousness.

     Generally, when the healers place their hands in a healing position, you may feel a number of different sensations. It may be the expected warmth of body heat or other sensations such as cold, water flowing, vibrating, trembling, magnetism, static electricity, tingling, color, sound or pain moving through the healers' hands. The healers may feel as if their hands have gone to sleep or with pins and needle sensations, while you may feel the same things or at other locations within your soul or energetic body. There is almost always a sensation of some kind. However, do not be alarmed if you feel nothing at all as it does not mean the energy is not flowing through you. Most people experience the healing energy as deeply relaxing during and afterwards as their physical, mental, and emotional stress leaves their body thereby restoring balance. So again, remember to relax and enjoy the experience as it is a beautiful offering and melding of God's loving energy!

     We are all body, mind, and soul. Our soul, or core essence, is made up of energy. When this life force energy, or "chi" as it is sometimes called, becomes depleted as a result of imbalance in one's body, mind, emotions, and spirit, we enter a state of dis-ease or "disease" in which health problems and illness manifests on all levels–mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual. Thus, hands-on-healing aims to restore balance to the body thereby removing the imbalances, or blocks of energy that flow through us, so that we can begin the process of healing ourselves naturally.

     Hands-on-healing can be used safely with all ailments and illnesses and many people do experience accelerated healing as a result. There are a plethora of positive effects with hands-on-healing as recently discovered through studies funded by the U.S. government's National Institute of Health, such as with the reduction, or elimination, of symptoms such as pain, stress, and tension. Chemotherapy and radiation patients notice a decrease in side effects with hands-on-healing, and it also will allow individuals to depart from this earth with resolution and a state of peace when it is their time to transition.

     While hands-on-healing can relieve or remove symptoms or even stimulate one's innate wisdom to heal at the source of the problem, not everyone who receives hands-on-healing may be cured. For instance, it may not be meant for one to be healed, or the right timing, or the dis-ease may be serving one in such a way that one does not actually want to be healed. In some cases, one may not be cured until such time as the actual cause of illness or dis-ease is addressed. For instance, an emotional issue may be causing a physical symptom and until that emotional issue is resolved by the owner, the physical symptoms may appear and reappear and may not be cured. It is always the recipient's belief, intention, and choice to heal that allows the process to happen and this is ultimately done through the will of God. It can take a long time for some illnesses to develop and may take time and patience for them to heal.

     While it is important not to have any expectations, amazing things often do happen when people open to receiving the healing energy. Miracles are the natural state of affairs when we open to them and do not stand in their way. When healers come together as a group, the healing energy flows more intensely, and the resulting effects are stronger than the sum of energy each healer channels individually. When we all come together with the same intent, our collectively energy is increased many times over. Group healing is a powerful way to manifest miracles. Miracles can and do occur. Through faith, hope, and love, and the grace of God, all things are possible!

     We currently meet the first and third Sunday of every month (except when our meetings fall on a holiday) at the Round Table Conference Center, located at 1104 Tusculum Blvd. in Greeneville, TN. Our gatherings officially begin at 12:00 pm with a talk on a unique topic of interest pertaining to healing, spirituality, and psychic development along with a guided meditation for spirit and energy clearing. This is followed by our Group Healing and Prayer Service for the public between 2:00 and 5:00 pm. We then end with a closing prayer as we join together in fellowship for a banquet style, vegetarian pot-luck dinner during the last hour of our gathering.

     Our Sunday gatherings are always free to attend although we do accept donations or love offerings to defray expenses relating to our group. You are welcome to come any time, or as often as you wish, and to stay for any part of, or for the entire duration of, our gatherings. As we grow largely through word of mouth, please feel free to bring along or invite your friends and loved ones to attend as well.

     Hands-on-healing specifically occurs as healers gently place their hands in a non-invasive manner in and around the recipient's energy field so that healing energy may pass through the healers to the recipient. The Life-force energy that produces healing flows through the chakras in the center of the palm and the tips of each finger. When you channel healing energy to others, you do not become depleted of your own energy. Rather, you also receive healing. As you heal others, so too are you healed. The healing energy begins to flow whenever one has the intent to pass the energy. As soon as the energy begins, the healer and the recipient usually notice the familiar heat sensations and the identifying characteristics of energy healing. Hand positions are somewhat mechanical at first as there are specific "Reiki" and chakra positions you can learn as a starting point by watching others or by pursuing further training on your own. Later on as you progress, you will "feel" the right positions as you will receive signals to move in certain ways and when to move to certain positions which are intuitively based through your own natural connection with God. Remember, there is no right or wrong way to do hands-on-healing as we do so individually and collectively as we are guided by Spirit.

     As you work with healing energy, either giving it to others or receiving it yourself, your own vibrational frequency or baseline energy levels will increase naturally over time and the stronger you will become in your ability to pass healing energy to others. You'll also more easily be able to feel it, recognize its natural cycle, and begin to see it as well. You will find that your intuition or your ability to receive or know the best course of action for others you are assisting will be enhanced as well. You can share the insights you receive during the energy healing session with that person at the conclusion, but remember to focus on being positive, hopeful, and proactive for that individual in terms of how they may better themselves, their lives, or the situations in which they currently find themselves.

     When used with crystals and gemstones, energy healing can be amplified and focused as a laser beam. Crystals have many different healing properties unto themselves and help raise the vibrational level of the person and magnify the energy healing being done which aids in clearing away the imbalances or energetic blockages. Other healing techniques we may use include the use of sound therapy, such as with toning, voice mantras, the use of tuning forks, or crystal healing bowls; the use of smell, such as with anointing of essential or holy oils; the use of sight, such as with color therapy or guided meditations, etc. Channeling, hypnosis, or regression therapy may also be incorporated along with other techniques or modalities, such as acupressure or massage therapy, aimed at further enhancing the group energy healing according to the particular skills, talents, and abilities of the individual healers present as they are so guided or directed at any given time.

     If you wish to improve your own innate spiritual gifts, this is best accomplished by practicing your abilities as part of and outside of our healing gatherings. By working on developing your healing abilities and spiritual gifts regularly through attendance at our gatherings and further on your own, you will naturally improve and strengthen over time.

     Aside from promoting, practicing, and teaching hands-on healing in general as part of our gatherings held for the public, at the beginning of each of our meetings from 12:00 to 2:00 pm, we also take an interest in learning about, exploring, and working with individual topics pertaining to or incorporated within hands-on healing. Some of the topics we may discuss include: angel and spirit communication, aromatherapy, or anointing of essential or holy oils, group energy healing and clearing, chakra and subtle energy balancing and alignment, clairvoyance, color therapy, crystal healing, developing intuition, long distance healing, mantras, meditation, mediumship, prayer, psychic development, Quantum-Touch healing, Reiki, regression therapy, sound therapy, spirit or trance channeling, spirituality, toning, among many other topics pertaining to, shown to have an affect on, or playing a possible role in hands-on-healing. This often includes scheduling guest speakers from the professional healing community at large to address such topics for our group members as part of, or outside of (when there is a fee involved), our regular gatherings in conjunction with other events and activities for the active benefit of the personal and spiritual healing, growth, and development of our group members.

     In addition, we also provide community networking and referrals as a free service to the public. We invite you to pick up the various literature and business cards provided by our group members on our networking table if you think you may be interested in, or feel called to receive, any of the various private, one-on-one professional services offered by our group practitioners in addition to our group healing gatherings. Please inquire with the individual practitioners directly regarding their own personal or professional services and fees you may be interested in.

     As an ascended master, Jesus was one of the greatest healers and psychics of all time. Jesus spent his life performing miracles and healing others through his faith, connection, and relationship with God. In the book of Corinthians, the Bible clearly says that spiritual gifts come from God and are given to us by the Holy Spirit. They include, among other gifts, the gift of hands-on-healing, the gift of working miracles, the gift of prophecy, and the gift of discernment of spirits (1 Cor 12:1-13). The Bible asks "Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles" (1 Cor 12: 29). In short, we should all strive to seek and develop our natural spiritual gifts and connection with God further. Jesus taught that we are all capable of talking and listening to God directly, discerning spirits, healing others, and working miracles through our relationship with God, and He said, "These gifts I give unto you and greater works shall you do" (John 14:12).
